Cassie/Mary ~ the P vs Z zombie is SOOOOO cute! I wants one!! (As does The Kid), as are the earrings (as before, except the boy would rework his as keyrings) lol
Brook/Debs ~ He reminds me of Zippy from Rainbow!!
@bindiibabe ooo ideas! hehe
I may be late sending out because i've hurt my neck and can't really move it.
Aww hon! Hope it gets better soon.
Happened to me the other day too, but I think twas from spending too long slouching in front of the PC, so it was self-inflicted and settled after a day of not being able to turn my head
since I noticed theres a lack of newbies, I was wondering if theres a Uk based vet who would like to do a harry potter themed swap ? (since the summer jewellery collection i released has a few potter themed goodies ). If anyone is interested there could be a pygmey puff in it for you
Hannah, I'm an inbetweeny but I am in UK and I do do Harry Potter!
I'd be up for a swap.
Just jewellery, or a mixture?
Inbetweeny (very cool word ). well how about a mixture since my last few swaps where all jewellery. How many items each and would you like to set the time limit too. Plus if you would like to pick your fave house that way I can taylor the items I make
Well...we're a mixture of houses in our house, so any!
The Boy is a Gryffindor
I always think 4or5 is a good number - enough to explore a couple of different ideas, not too much to get bogged down! What do you think?
As for time limit, I've got a busy week coming up so I can't start till around the 18th, allowing time to craft, I'm good for sending out anytime after the 25th or so, maybe sooner.
If that suits you, PM me your address & any pertinent details (house/ wishlist items etc)
Hi Lil_Mermaid_Girl, Welcome to Swapping!!
I'm quite new to it too but it's really easy and everyone I've met on here has been so friendly and helpful.
If you've read the first page of this board, it pretty much covers all you need to know.
For most other swaps, they ask that you have completed the Newbie swap (this one) so its best to start here!.
You need to post here saying you would like to swap, using this form (just copy & paste it then fill out your details)

A Vet ( a boards veteran is someone who has completed a number of swaps and has accumulated at least 100 board posts) will offer to be your swap partner, and when you accept, the pair of you will arrange all the details then. It looks like most vets leave it up to the newbie to choose a theme, how many items, time frame etc but they'll advise you if you're unsure of anything. After you've been paired up with someone its a good idea to have a look at their profile - most people have lists of likes and dislikes, and from looking at their projects, u can see what they can do.
This is turning out to be a HUGELY long post, but it covers the basics you need to know to get started!
Fill out the form and it wont be long till you're swapping away
yeh that sounds great since I have my results day coming up for high school and my enrollment day. Ha ha well I love huffflepuff (I love badgers ) but I love all the houses. so 5 items sounds great,
Good luck with your results Hannah!
My daughter got hers last week (she was one of the ones who got the text message early by mistake! so she heard on wednesday instead of thursday)
Thanks, gosh I wish I had mine early the suspense is killing me ! Atleast with a craft swap my mind is on something else
young padawan bindiibabe is very talented and correct! I will hopefully be making your stuff today, my ability to look down is returning, so i can look at something without having to turn my whole body!
Thank gawd for that Yoda, thought we were gonna have to get on e-bay and search the medical equiptment listings to find you a stryker frame to hold you in position and a wee robotic craft arm to hold ur work-in-progress!!
