Swaps on CO+K
I all ready show my swap on my page. I posted a project cald my swappies and everytime I finished a swap (and I took pictures of them) I load them up on that same project. that way it will not take in allot of your project room and you can show of the items you have send... just an idea!
anout the rest I think it must not be too stricked with rules ect, because I love the cosiness on CO+K ans I wouldn't like if that is gone. aldo we all don't like getting flaked, I hope it will not lose his tought of swapping here on CO+k.
I don't really swap, but I think option 3 is a good idea. :p
What about a swap system simular to craftsters.org? It usually works out great, but when they do have a swapper flake they make a post asking for a swap angel to fill in. They have it so if you flake you cant join another swap until you make an angel package for someone who has been flaked on. The comments about the swap are focused on communication with the swap host and with your partner, if you sent on time, and if you met the specific qualifications (i havent swapped on here yet so it might be the same, but they do point swaps with small med. and large. items)
we do that here
Oh ok, i wasnt sure how it was done really. Ive been on here for a while and i never knew there were swaps on this site.
We are beginning to have an issue with incomplete swaps across the swap shop board again.I will host an "Incomplete Swap 2011" thread to support recording this as the end swap survey is no longer moderated.
Hello! I'm new to this site and wondering what swapping is. Could someone please explain it and tell me how to get involved?
I just found the answer to my original question , but I have another one now. What are the rules on the # of swaps you can be in on at one time, and would it make a difference if they were under different categories?
As someone who has flaked before I think that the rating system would be fair that way you know what you're getting into at least ya know?
Ann T -There is no specific number of swaps you can be involved with at one time. There are many different types of swaps ongoing, personal and specific themed so this is not practical.
Each swap or thread has specific instructions that explain who can be involved.
Devil Puppy-we're using the Incomplete Swaps thread to track this currently last years details are still available.Welcome back btw.
Essex, thanks, I finally did send out my package but I guess I should go find the thread to let them know that it's completed. She should be getting it *fingers crossed* friday It was the first thing I did when I came back on here was ask for my partners address again. I also bought a secret surprise to make up for it ;)

3!!!! we should keep it but keep it our own in our website
like i said in another topic, maybe some way to tell old/completed swaps from current/new ones? I was looking down the list and couldnt tell which were open for signing up, busy going on or finished
I am interested in doing my first swap, what do I do?
Hey GryffindorGrl, welcome to the wonderful world of swapping!
Most swaps ask that you've completed a Newbie/Vet swap first, the one you want is here:
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/board/swapping/swap_shop/4913-newbie-vs-vet-swap-new-again
Give the first page a quick read to familiarise yourself with how it works, then copy & paste the "form" and use it to post a reply saying you want to sign up. You'll then be assigned a veteran swapper, who'll guide you through it, and answer any questions you have.
Swapping is fun & addictive as well as being a great way to get to know new friends and pick up new ideas & techniques
