Craft Materials swap

Hello i can usally get my hands on tons of stuff through yard sales and thrift stores i dont normally need anything how ever there are a few things that i cant get because of my surounding nature, like
exotic flowers, sand, empty snails shell, dead shells, pretty tiny rocks i have tiny rocks how ever they arnt in really nice colors like blues or yellows and reds all natural colors i mean, i also dont have a lot of family thats old bitties with atticks full of awsome cool old stuff just ripe for the picking, the only family that i do have are old and semi old guys with FOOTBALL stuff or little plactis CARS im NOT ALLOWED TO Touch, i would love to find pieces of games that iv never heard of befor or the old door nobs from a 19th century home, or one of my favorite thing to find is tons of Super OLD pictures that obvisly have a story to them but i dont know what it is because its not my family HEHEHE, you dont have to send the actual picture a bunch of copys is cool, old buttons and oh and super old cotsume jewly is neeto. if you think that you might have some of these things get a hold of me let me know what you need and we can find out if we have a swap

I have plenty of sand and shells...If I get a chance, I might find some pretty pink rocks too. What kind of stuff do you have?

oh well i usally just buy when i need it. how ever what i have right now in my craft matirial is feathers, large glass beads, i have two old kids books hard back the pictures are really nice in there, i have some old cloths and extra matiral from a costume, little baggies of glitter and i think i might even have some flowers and a couple pices of costume jewlry i got at a yardsale

Cool, I'll swap for the books. I'll have to ask my husband to drive us to the beach this weekend. I'd go earlier myself...but my son broke my glasses and I can't see worth a durn. lol

I'll get you some pretty shells and stuff, and maybe a bag of pretty GA Sand. You'll have a piece of my town when you get it! That's pretty cool!

Anyways. I may not be able to get the big swirly shells, they don't wash up on this side of the shore that often. The tourist shops have a ton of stuff like that though if you really one one, I could pick it up for you. ;)

If you don't mind waiting for my stuff to arrive before sending out the books, that would probably be best. As I'm not sure when my glasses will arrive (for me to drive) and I'm not sure if my Hubbie has other plans for this weekend, I can't be positive when I'll be able to ship them out to you.

ok thats cool what esle are you looking for cause the books arnt very big i would not want to short you or anything?

I don't know? Maybe buttons, or gems? Any kind of "embellishing" type thing. I've been using so much felt now, I really don't use much fabric anymore. I guess you could just surprise me, since what I'll be sending you is free for me. All it costs me is a nice walk on the beach with my family...and a few bucks in shipping. ;)

Oh yeah there is somthing thats really hard for me to get cause all of the stores over here dont have a wide range of it is diffrent colors of felt i can only get Black white pink blue brown red and yellow and only once in a while purple if anyone has others colors or styles, and charms i can usally find some of these at hobby lobby but they are all metal and have no color i need color and lots of it, hand made, and old fashioned are good too, if anyone else wants to swap for somthing i might have i can find somthing for them too

Here are a few things I have... Some Leather, was thinking for journals of such... light purplish yarn that I just will never use all of, and come crafting books that are no use to me, but might be for someone else. Like I said too I have lots of old earrings, the big 80's kind that I cant use or that I can think of anything there is about 6 lb. worth.. Ill get a pic of that later.. for now..

Vi~Im shocked that you cant find those craft supplies, I feel so spoiled. these things we can find in our junk stores, even the dollar store has an abundance of craft stuff! I could put a LOT together for you with some random supplies ...sequins are cheap, feathers can be pricy. Im not using alot of my wire right now either. if you still need supplies let me know! id love to down size a bit!

Thank you Oddbreed,Blue sent me so much feathers that I have enough for everything.And recently I found out that I can get telephone cable really cheap and if I rip it a part it has so much bronze wire in it! Also I need to finish my swaps and then Ill do another round of this one.
If you will be still up for the swap then It would be awesome to do it.The wire would be great and I could also use some embellishments and-or beads.Also,Im very,very short on felt.

Vi~ I have an abundance of beads! my hands dont work like they used to! Im into the sewing thing right now..Im lucky enought to have a mother in law who frequents the local rummage room and picks up stuff everyday! If you really need something specific let me know! she finds amazing stuff and its FREE! Im a crafter who gets most of my supplies for little to nothing..spoiled! My father in law picked up a tote full of lace and trim valued at 500.00 for 10 bucks. I will help however I can...keep me in mind and if i can think of anything i really need I will let you know! thanks!!!
