Craft Materials swap

Hello,
I have some shrink plastic, I have clear and possibly black. It's so easy to get here that I can send you some?

I would love to do this! I have trouble with shrink plastic too,its really pricey here,but I can swap something else?

I have trouble finding:
-earring hooks
-jump rings (I cant find any at all...)
-oddly shaped buttons.(I love buttons that are weird,but here I can only buy "normal" ones,"granny" ones and wooden.Nothing else...)
-WIRE ( I cant buy jewelry wire at all,and I really want to try to crochet with it)


I could send in exchange:
-beads (there is a bi range of beads in our craft store.wooden,glass,colorful and in any colors)
-embroidery floss (just name the color I can find it here)
-paper napkins for decoupage (nature,animals,cartoons,Africa themed,Halloween...anything.And I can buy them one by one.So if you need one of each or only one I can get it)
-wooden buttons (natural color)
-acrylic paint for stenciling
uhmm...thats what I can think of now,but if theres anything else someone would like to swap let me know.

I can help with this.Vi I Have lots of wire in my stash and vintage buttons-can also put out the call to my old walkers.
Re the wire though I use recycled electrical wire salvaged for a theater but I have a friend who makes cakes for her local electrician and takes the stuff he removes when rewiring houses !
Have all sorts of earring hooks-some vintage
I tend to breakdown old jewelery for jump rings but can source the easily
I'd love some multicoloured floss is hard to find here and you know i'm a bead fiend glass ones especially

I use recycled wire too,but its bronze colored and I like the silver colored one more.

What colors of floss would you like? I can get the ones where colors fade in to darker and lighter.Ill take some pictures of mine and post them.
Also what colors and size of beads should I get?Or should I surprise you?

Oh,and also would anyone like to swap with me for purple,black and green feathers and rhinestones?
They are impossible to find here...
I need the feathers for earrings and the rhinestones for covering my laptop.

I already looked everywhere for them even in other cities but I cant find them anywhere.I could crochet some bracelets or make something in exchange too.

also what kind of rhinestones do you need? like the colored plastic ones? I have some shaped ones (butterflies, flowers)

Violetta, if the wire Essex Debs is offering is silver and you want coloured, I can get coloured and it's thin so good for knitting. They also sell jump rings in the local craft shop. I'll let you sort out what you want to swap with Essex Debs and if there's still something she can't get, just let me know. I have thousands of 3mm/4mm coloured plastic flat back rhinestones and I had to buy 12 multicoloured packets just to get the light blue ones for my wedding stationary!! You would be welcome to them. Feathers I don't know. I have a mixed pack somewhere I think...

The rhinestones can be any shape and any color,I need them to cover my laptop (you know the way they cover cellphones)
Is there anything you would like in exchange?From the stuff I listed in my first post or I can make you something you like from my projects list.

V, I would swap you some shrink plastic and some rhinestones for some of the colour change floss? I've never seen that before.

Hang on though, I've just had a thought - the rhinestones are not self adhesive - the sticky backed ones are really expensive here - is that OK? you can stick them on with PVA glue and they hold fast (better than the sticky back ones do). You'd get all colours except light blue! - Silver, gold, yellow, light pink, dark pink, violet, lilac, dark blue, dark green and light green. You can have a mixed wheel or pick your colours!

No problems,the few I found where non sticky too and I used super glue. I dont mind the colors.
What color of floss would you like?
