Your fine.I gathered you were away and thought that was what happened.
Sign me up for round two.I treated myself to "Stuffed" magazine and am full of ideas. It features John Murphy who inspired my sock monsters
Ok Debs While we are on the topic of sock creatures I really want to try to make a sock pig. Has anyone seen these/made one before? They are so adorable. Also, do you think it would be a good present for my little baby cousin? (He's not even born yet and I already made him a rattle and a blanket)^^

wow, those piggies are adorable. And Lo , the mystical plushie is flying his way to you. The post man said you could get him wedsnday
Lookie what I got!
Zina, you amaze me. You certainly have deft fingers when it comes to sewing up some stuff. The little penguins are my favorite. I've named them Josh, Dessah, and Benjamin. ;) As I'm sure that's what you named them too. lol
And Ben is thrilled with his "special" plushie, just for him. Thanks for thinking of my baby. That means the world to me. ;)

Whoa, those were supposed to be the size of the first one. I don't know what happened. Sorry guys!
Wow those are AMAZING! I love the elephant! So cute! You guys are making me look bad with all of your professional plushies
Angel Eve - I hope you get your plushies soon, I sent them out 2 weeks ago! I hope they didn't get lost.
Oh wow, that was a bit ago. I'll go check the mail tonight them to look for them. If it was canada post you went with, normally you get a tracking number so you can see where its gone to
Those piggies look sooooo similar to the "How to" in Stray Sock Sewing by Daniel. They are easy to make and there is a good illustrated "how to" in the book not the case with all the projects in that one. Get from the library if you can.If your really struggling let me know. This is lambkin who lives with my sheep who left him and went to Wales but are all back together now. Thanks for the tip Debs! I'll look for that book for sure. I actually managed to find a great sock pig tutorial online and I'm 1/2 done making mine now... He doesn't look as cute as the one in the tutorial but he's shaping up.
Here's the link for the tut in case anyone wants to make one:

I'm not using any buttons on my pig because he's made for a baby. Instead I'm using sewn-on peices of felt for the eyes and nose and mouth.
