Time for a teaser and some clarification.
Would you prompts on the page/loose or a collection of both ?
I have deconstructed the structure of this 1931 book, added tip-ins and other things.90% of the glossy paper has been gesso-ed.Think I'm done with adding washes with herbal teas. Just starting the embroidery tricky on such old paper-then I'm really looking forward to bee-waxing for the first time yes I know... and I've still got time to explore some more .Yippee

Wow Deb that sounds amazing. I hope mines up to scratch. I found binding the pages together really hard and had several attempts. Part of the problem was that I didn't think about it from the beginning. I think its come out okay though :/

Arty Glue them together, using wax paper to protect the rest of the book, or if you removed some pagse stitch them with thin thread.Shall I do a how to at some point......?
Ale it's not work- it's play ! It's been a year since I did my altered book workshop at the museum and I really haven't "played on this scale since.So I'm really having fun exploring the process again.Sewing time :0)

I tried glue first but it didn't work. I've ended up using tape as well as gluing down the spine. Its come out okay I think. I just hope Salvalo likes it
