language exchange-penpals
I love this idea of a language exchange! I have always been a language freak (I want to learn a lot of languages), but I have never really had the skill to do so...
CANADA
Speaks: Fluent English
Needs improvement on: French (9th grade, so far, so not that impressive...)
Wants to learn: ANY LANGUAGE, as long as they have similar characters to English (no Chinese characters or random squiggles I can't memorize; any other languages welcome)

I'm Lisa
I'm from the Netherlands
I speak Dutch and English fluently,
I speak Spanish at intermediate level but I really want to become fluent in it one day.. So I need practice!!
French at intermediate level too but the difference is I learned French at school (for 4 years) and I know words I don't even use in Dutch or English, but I can't have a normal conversation, so I need someone to talk to
I understand German up to a very high level, and I can speak (not write) it at umm, well could be intermediate to high level but the thing with German is, I don't know the grammar at all.. and although its pretty similar to Dutch and I pick up on these things easily, I still can't use verbs properly and sadly there's a verb in every sentence usually But yeah I think as soon as I stop being lazy and study for once I could speak German very well
I speak Japanese and Russian at beginners level (and I know hiragana, some kanji, and the cyrillic alphabet) and I really want to get this to at least intermediate level too
And I'm interested in every other language so if you want to learn Dutch but don't speak any of the languages above (except for english of course lol), I'll still be glad to help you, I think it's very fun to teach Dutch, and I want to learn as many languages as possible I also really want to learn a scandinavian language and romanian or czech, but any language is fine really
