If not etsy, try dawanda!!!

Ok, for all of you who are afraid to try etsy because they charge fees, try dawanda. It's like etsy where you can list handmade and vintage stuff only, and the great thing is that they don't charge anything. I have a shop there where I have made sales, which is the one shop I am focusing on more because of etsy fees. I have items that have expired and will not be relisting them, but they are going to be added to my dawanda shop along with some new stuff some of which is twilight creations. http//:creativemind.dawanda.com

they will eventually be charging fees for listing items, but until then it's just a 5% commission on what you sell (not including shipping) - I'll definitely look into it Happy thanks for sharing!!

All that is news to me Candice, I guess I need to read the updates more often. But anyway, I never really feel the hit of the commission charge because the currency is different of course from the states and another country's currency is more than what it is here. For example, I can sell something for like 5 bucks but actually get paid up to 8+ in some countries, but that downside is that you can loose as much to other countries. Fortunately, I haven't had that issue so far. Still though, there are other sites that do not charge anything, but with them, you can sell anything and not just handmade crafts.

I think I might try this site. I dont know. Etsy didnt work for me at all, and I whored my shop out for awhile there.

Thanks Kiddo for adding my shop to your favs, I will add everyone's to mine.

The site does state that they will be charging a listing fee later this year, so I wanna get as much stuff listed before then cuz they won't charge for what's already listed. And another thing is that they won't charge to relist it once it's expired which is also good.

As far as the currency thing on there, I usually use the currency converter to determine about how much I want to charge for something if bought from another country. Check it out if you think it will help http://www.xe.com/ucc/
