Yeah, that was funny, I remember that part too when I read Eclipse. Jake is mean when it comes to Edward, but another one of my fav parts is when he (Jake) had to "share" the sleeping bag with Bella to keep her warm when they were camping out. Edward was jealous because he couldn't do that for her, but that was the most Jake was gonna get from Bella. I done went back to reading Twilight now.
