ATC Swap...Partners posted for round 16!!
First, for those of you who don't know, these cards are mandatory size of 3 1/2 X 2 1/2, which is the same size as regular playing cards. ATC's (Art Trading Card) are cards that you trade with others and collect. You can either use regular playing cards to make these or cut your own and you can decorate them any way you like using any medium or embellishments.
I thought these little works of art would be perfect for a swap, hence that's exactly, or mostly, what they are made for. They can be framed or kept in collectors folder, just like baseball cards.
This swap is ongoing, which means there will always will be a swap once every month with the sign up date ending on the 22nd and the send out date the 29th. If you don't or can't send out on the date specified, keep in contact with your partner to give them a heads out until your ATC's in shipment.
A mandatory of nine cards are to be sent, unless stated otherwise. You can cut 9 3.5 X 2.5 cards from one piece of card stock or paper. You can send a mix of what you have received and some you've made, preferably more of a 5 to 4 ratio (make five, send 4 from your collection from others), but you can send more of your own or all if you like. Make sure your ATC 's are on sturdy paper and try to send something that you would like to receive.
And did I mention that this is cheap swap?!
(Modified 10/01/10)
I am, i've just started getting into making these through swap-bot so i'd love the chance to make more
Great!
I'm in. Thanks for the opportunity and I Love ATC's. I think we should start with an even dozen since it would probably encourage more people with not so much time on their hands. That is my only challenge, finding the time to do them. I hope we get a few more to get it going soon.
oooh oooh pick me pick me!!! *jumps up and down* lol
this would be my first post...as well as my first swap... Recently I started putting some of my latest projects online - count me in!
Ok, that makes 5 of us so far!! I will post partners next Friday.
If anyone likes to see this is an ongoing swap, let me know and I will post guidelines and such. ^_^
I promised myself I wouldn't sign up for anymore swaps until school is done, but this one doesn't sound too complicated so I'm in. (I usually doodle and draw at night anyways)
Yay!! The more the merrier!
Id be up for this if you make it an ongoing one. I unfortunately have a bit too much on my plate at the moment so I don't have time to do it So I'll be skipping the first time round.
No problem Rhibi. If this is a success, most likely it will be an ongoing thing.
Ok guys, I will be posting partners tomorrow and right now it's down to 5 of us so far this round. I will try this is an ongoing swap for a while, so I will be posting the guidelines soon. ^_^
Ok, here is the partner list for this round.
Creativemind and Lily
Schnaasi and Dani
Sugarlishes and Expired Insanity
This should be a fairly cheap swap as far as postage, which would only require a regular size envelope (small 9.2 cm X 16.5 cm).
Send out date is a week from today (May 29), but if you are gonna be late or something let your partner know what's up.
How many stamps do i need to put on the envelope for it to go to canada? Anyone know?
are we doing 9 or 12?
