Kiddo you should definately try it. I've been sewing since september 2008 and started with small projects like aprons. I'm still not entirely happy with my skills but they are getting better and better with every project I make. This week I got my copy of "bend the rules sewing" by Amy Karol in the mail. That would be a nice start. Many simple projects with easy instructions.
