I opened an etsy shop about a year or so ago, but I didn't have it open long. It was my first shop and my patience was not good, so I let it go as far as not re-listing anything once they expired but never canceled my account. But I just recently started listing things again, so anywho my shop is
craftycreature101.etsy.com
Ooh Ive never heard of etsy before, Ive only ever put stuff on ebay. I think Ill go havea looky
It costs a little less to list items than what ebay does.
My etsy shop is http://kiddo47.etsy.com
http://sugarlishes.etsy.com is mine! check it out!
Does anyone have any good tips on promoting your etsy?
I've put links on my myspace, facebook, and here.
I dont know what else to do.
Make sure you put enough tags on your items...for instance i have a set of 4 zombie themed cards, I put down that it was paper craft and then i also added 'zombie" so it will be easy to be pulled off on a search. Also get some business cards made, you can make them yourself or try the interent some sites have good sales, i got alot for 3.99. SO i can give them to my friends, swap partners, family and make sure to give them extras so they can pass out as well. Etsy also has a show case where you can feature your items or store for a price this way ppl can really take notice when they check out the showcase. Hope that helps Traci and good luck.
lol all of us on Cok can maybe take turns buying from each other and show them off to their family and friends so they can check out your store as well. Just a thought lol.
Thanks.
I think the business cards are a good idea.
What site did you get yours from?
I used to work at Kinkos and could probably make some myself, but I dont have the Kinkos hook up anymore and I dont want to pay for them. haha.
I got my cards at vistaprint.com
Thanks!
and opinions?????
Which is better?
ooooh I like the first one...the second one looks a bit to busy with the patterns and the font color...
I added a couple more things to my shop.
Mine isn't completly set up yet but here it is:
