I am back...sorta...(pic of evil step)

hi guys,

I must say I hope no one ever feels what I am feeling now, with this pain I would rather be giving birth cause at least the contraptions slowly subside for a minute before coming again, this pain I have is constant. Its more annoying than ever since I am not one to just sit and do nothing, I am unable to play with my girls, craft, clean or even get to the bathroom on my own. so I wish this not on anyone!
But anyway I am still staying at my parents house for now just till we can get our stuff moved to the new place that we got on post(no stairs YAY!) It will be difficult to obtain the internet since I am either drug induced sleeping or my brothers wont give it up lol!
For all those who dont remember what happened, I fell down the front door steps last sunday due to the fault of the maintence guy who apparently did not screw one side of the stair down which cause it to slide under my foot and I go boom on the ground. Which caused 2 bones in my ankle to break and I had a spiral fracture on the small bone of my leg in result I had to have metal plates placed in my leg and ankle. OUCHIE! Dad is calling me the next bionic woman since i have metal in my other leg too LOL. I will not be able to walk on this leg at least for 12 weeks if not longer once therapy starts. On the 30th I get the brace and the stitches off and get a cast...hmmm what color should i get? lol. I am keeping my spirits up and trying not to let this get me down but I must be honest there is times i get so frustrated when I need help with the simplest tasks.
I have a wheelchair and wish I can pimp it out...its so boring looking. To bad I cant get a bunch of stickers and cover my crutches with them, that will be neat. Oh and to those who knew that I was working on my cosplay outfit for the anime thing...well couldnt go Happy! but my brothers did buy me a few things and that made me feel happy. But I hope another one comes to our town again so I will be ready! Happy
So anyone have any ideas on what to do while laying in bed? I am losing my mind not able to do anything. I miss talking and checking on the new projects here..so bored...help!

do you crochet because you can do that in bed then you can post all your crocheted projects on here yeaaaaaaaaaaa
if you dont know how its a great time to learn
on a seperate note its your land lords responsibility to fix the stairs properly if the guy he hires doesnt do the job right that means hes liable for any accidents that may accur you should stick him with the bill i know that sounds bitchy but you know if you decided to move and their was like a stain on the carpet or a hole in the wall he would hold you responsible for it im just down on landlords because i had a really nasty one last summer and he never wanted to fix the electrical work in our place fuses allways blew it was crazy one day though the wires started getting hot and were making that wire burning smell we called him and said you need to redo this wiring and he was trying to make excuses as useual so i said ok thats cool me my husband and our children will be staying at our moms for a few days because the wires here are burning if by chance while were gone the place burns down and our stuff is ruined we do have renters insurance soooooooooooo you will pay for everything that is damaged and btw our computer cost 800 alone so that gives you something to think about i was just so nasty w/ him because he kept blowing us off and if that wouldev happend at nite when we were asleep anyways some landlords are like that but when we got back the circuit breaker box and some of the wiring had been replaced w/ brand new things Happy
anyways soryy about your cosplay costume and all but theirs allways holloween right

my husband is currently in the army so all our hospital bills are paid but at the moment he is going to seek legal and take them to court cause with the amount of damage to my leg that was cause by the maintence guy's malfunctuion I will never fully regain the full mobility of my ankle again. My indepency was taken from me, as well the complete use of my leg. I am so angry. Acording to my dad who is in the local police force told me I can see about taking them to court for pain and suffering and releasing the guy from his duties this way this doesnt happen to another person. I am just so glad I didnt have one of my girls in my arms when this happened.

crochet....i dont have the mats for it and dont know how to, I guess i can google and when payday come along i can ask my hubby to get me the mats to do so. Thanks Happy

Christ! That's rubbish honey, I'm sorry. You could knit a jumper or something? Or yeah, crochet. I guess it's just making the best of the situation. I know it's horrible if you like to be doing stuff and you're down for ages, but it is a good time to do all that stuff you couldn't before. You could learn card making? I think you should pimp your wheelchair with glitter and ribbons!

I hope that you start feeling better soon! While you are confined to the bed you could always bead. I sometimes do beading while I am laying on the couch and as long as you put the beads in little bowls they won't roll around everywhere. You could also do some embroidery by hand. I don't know how to crochet either, but I am actually taking a class next week at my local library on how to crochet things from plastic bags and I plan on posting a how-to once I am done with the class, so I will try to explain how to crochet. I think if you type "crocheting" into YouTube, you should be able to find a tutorial on it too.

yeah i would diffinately take him to court it sucks that you wont be able to have full ankle function agin but you never know sometimes their wrong
but your totally right to be mad because of someone elses negligence you have to suffer that pic is crazy that guy knew better then that seriously concrete is not that expensive he shouldev filled those stairs in then pulled the board away when the cement dried its easy to see how your foot got caught under their when the idiot didnt even have the front of the step coverd wow ppl amaze me
anyways i didnt know you needed i didnt know you needed a mat to crochet whats that for im not that experienced in it either though but its not that hard first you learn to chain thats easiest i know that and i know how to double stich and granny square thats it i cant do patterns or read them for that matter i learned from watching
but hey i thought of something really cool you could make for your wheel chair one of those little bags that hang on the back then you can put things in it like books and pens etc things you use all the time so their easy to get to like cans of pop snacks etc and you could use lots of buttons to decorate it or ribbon lace etc

thanks guys for the support and suggestions! I got a lawyer. And I am going to see about finding some fabric and sewing that thing for the wheelchair by hand cause might as well get it sugar-fied cause I will be in it for awhile lol. The hubby told me he will try to get me out of the house tommorow cause I am going stir crazy, i dont mind the pain just to get outside for a bit, he even said we can stop at walmart and find stickers for my crutches. So I will keep you guys posted on that lol. thanks guys, its time to drug up and get in bed, luvs yas!
