What can i do with buttons?

buttons...lets see what can you do with buttons besides put on clothes and make into rings and stuff...oooh this is a good challenge..youre keeping me on my toes monica lol....*thinks*..hmm i guess it depends on how big they are...the only thing I can think of is either make magnets out of them, or get really creative and get a small canvas and make art out of them. lol..maybe...*shrugs* i dunno

i have all size buttons so it dosnt really matter , i really like the button magnets idea , and i like to hang lots of things on my expo board so i guess ill give it a try , thanks again

OMG, I LOVE BUTTONS!!! But other than earings, bracelets and necklaces... hmm....

SHOES, buttons will look so cool in little groups on shoes[kind of clothing... kind of not].

My friend Aleasha bought a boring jansport backpack, and we ended up putting a bunch of buttons in groups on it and made it all snazzyfied

You can make button flowers for mothers day or something, You can make button flower vases, picture frames, mirror frames [same diff, I know, I'm just in a thinking-line]. you can make those bead-things that you hang in your doorway and its all mysticy and psychicy or whatnot [but out of buttons, obvoiusly]

Snazzy-fye your room telephone, your diary, journal, your art-bag, or pencil case. Photo album [my aunt makes them for her friends special events. She made one for my mom's Wedding, and another for my aunts first model photoshoot, and on that one she put a bunch of fabric and buttons and ribbon].

Make something for halloween, a mask or something.

Put them on your wallet, trashcan [to pretty-fye it]. Glue them on balloons to make one of a kind balloons, your curtains,

CD case, Ipod case, Phone case, etc.

I think i would try to decorate my wallet , its kinda boring and i guess it wouldnt hurt to put a couple of buttons , the button flower sounds cool to , i think i'll look into it , thanks

I like the canvas and making art thing.

Also, growing up my mom had a button box- an old fruitcake tin FULL of all kinds of buttons. Me and my sister just used to play with them, like Legos, it was one of our favorite toys. We would stack them, line them up, just dig our hands through the tin and pretend it was money.... It's not exactly a craft but it sure was fun.

I also love playing with buttons , i enjoy the sound they make when you drop them , when i use button i sometimes imagine they are money as well , i dont use canvas so the button on the canvas ideas isnt for me , but maybe building something with the buttons would be cool , i guess i can make little cartoons or button robots , i think i'll give that a try , thanks .........

My cousin and I put buttons on gift packages. Thread ribbon through it, and tie it on the box. It looks really cute. Other than that, I can't think of anything that hasn't been mentioned.

Todays craft at camp was decorating a coffee container so that they could hold pencils in them, a lot of girls COVERED them in buttons- they really loved it, and they turned out really cute. So maybe you can make one of those and use it on your desk.

Hm, If have have shoes, notebooks, even you're cell phone....
I mean, you could decorate it all with those buttons. I'd make cell phone charms....
OR! you could make cute rings, that'd be fun!
OR! even hairclips, that'd be the first thing I'd do.
Oh! and headbands would look super dandy with buttons too!
