Awesome gift idea

It took me a while to think of Christmas gifts for my mom and a pen pal of mine... then it hit me!

Fashion First-Aid kits. My penpal and my mom both sew a lot, and my mom has always worked in the apparel industry.

Here's what my kits are going to include, all inside of a small craft organizer box that will easily fit into even a tiny purse:
10 sewing pins
2 sewing needles, 1 short, 1 long
2 miniature spools of thread
3-4 matching buttons
5 safety pins
1 1-inch section of self-adhesive velcro

I know, it's more of a stocking stuffer than a gift, but small things are important, too Happy

they sell kits like that at places like Target and Walgreens for a couple of dollars too.

I've seen them go for 2-4 dollars out here, but when you look at the threads, there isn't much and everything else looks like such low quality stuff. Picking and choosing individual pieces puts together a better set that someone can get more mileage out of.
