Well there are lots of different styles of lettering there...

The big letters in print are probably done using the applique technique. Not sure if you know what it is but I'll try and loosely explain anyway. You cut out your 'object' from your desired fabric and attach it to your garment then do a loose basting stitch around the edges (pretty much a zig-zag stitch). More information on that can be found via google or even on here!

The other lettering looks like it could be fabric paint and iron-on motifs.

Hope this helps?...

The thin blue writing on the person on the far right on her right leg looks like it's just stitched on...

It would be kinda hard to do stitching on the leg by hand or machine, so my guess is they used the iron-on paper that you apply to the fabric. Once it's ironed on, puff paint was applied around the edges and probably used also for the writing and drawing on the one on the right.

You're totally right creativemind!! Haha! Can't believe I thought that... I need to start writing stuff down so I don't have so much going on in my head :S then maybe I can think straight! Lol.

Haha, I get loopy sometimes too Ruby, but it's understandable with having so much on your mind. I too am always thinking about too much at one time!
