How to fix an accidental slit

I was tryin to cut out something on my latest project and i accedentally made a biggish slit

HOW DO I PATCH IT UP!?!?!?

i was thinking you could use a big zig-zag stitch over ut but i just wanted to see if there were other solutions

If you would be open to it you could put a pleated piece of fabric inside so the skirt will open wide when you walk.
Or you could add a zipper...depending on the skirt it may look intentional and amazing Happy
