"fake water" flower vase filling

You know those fake flower vases that have the clear plastic-like stuff for fake water? i was wondering if anyone has ideas for how to make your own clear substance like that. is it resin?

It is resin, yes. If you are looking to do the same thing, be very careful, as resin can give off very toxic fumes. Also, pouring the resin in all at once will prevent it from curing, so the surface will always be sticky to the touch.
