Christmas Present Help! :/

Hi all! I'm new here and really need some help/advice what to get for my brother.
I really am low on money this year so i'm making all my christmas presents. I'm trying to recycle and make things that way, but im really stuck for my brother, plus its his birthday this month too which is more difficult.

Here is some things he likes..
He's 27, really into sports and activities like swimming, running
He likes to drink, and i think he smokes still but not sure, i was wondering about making him a ashtray but not sure?
He's a real film buff and loves the alien films and also likes miami vice, fight club.. Also cartoons like Fammily guy/american dad.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! :] thanks everyone!

uhmm you could make him a soda can ashtray
or, a beer can wallet? (search arizona ice tea can wallet on here).
a beer cozy shaped like a football, or else wise
chocolate covered pretzels with white chocolate dyed to the colors of his favorite sports team
a sports team throw or pillow
an alien eye eye cover for sleep

For my brother last year I made him a big black pillow that I had embroidered a storm trooper onto with white thread. It looked really cool in the end!
Embroidery is also super easy to learn if you've never tried it before. Maybe you could appeal to the film buff in your brother?

Thanks brianna and spinerette! all those ideas are really good, Happy Ive decided im going to make him either a beer cozy, or a pillow! Im thinking of trying embroidery aswell since its easy to learn Happy thanks again! it really did help all your ideas

My brother in law is into horror movies,drinking and games. Soooo two years ago I bought some wooden coasters at hobby lobby, printed images from some of his favorite horror movie dvd covers and game covers and mod podge onto them and sprayed a clear protective coat on them. He still uses them!
