Im getting weird symbols on patterns!

I get stuff like "“leg”!" instead of whatever word (in that case "leg" was what im thinking they were going for,) was intended. Is it my browser? Settings? So far it hasn't affected my ability to read the pattern itself, i can infer from the info around it, but I can see how this could be troublesome.

I often get symbols like these too, so I can't read parts of projects.

Tom: There are too many to list. They appear on all sorts of projects on CO+K, but they tend to be really common on projects with patterns.
