I'm sorry, I already posted this once when it was a minor annoyance, but lately it's becoming worse.........

I know one can choose weather to recieve a e-mail notice about new comments and versions or not. Thing is, that also includes notices about new favorites.
For some reason, I'm getting a LOT of favorites in the last weeks ( which is nice, but somehow weird because when I say a LOT, I mean it...... ), and my inbox gets crowded, not allowing any important messages in...
I'd still like to get a notice for new comments though...

So the question is, again, could you please include an option to let us choose weather to recieve favorite-notices or not? I personally do not need them for my ego. Tongue
( Huh, I know keeping up with a website is hard work and I don't wanna sound rude by 'requesting' changes, please be sure of that... )

Ooo....do I detect a 'little' rudeness....don't worry if others read your statement you won't have to bother with ANY 'faves' in your inbox. The majority of people on the site are more than happy to say thank you to each other...One large black ball in your direction coming up!

Hey guys, I think this is an issue about automatic notifications about favourites rather than people saying thanks.

We are going to be updating the notifications so that you can edit what emails you get. Looking at Tom's to-do list, this is scheduled in for Thursday next week!

I kind of feel like I've been insulted because I always take the time to send thank you notes to everyone. Sometimes I'm checking my inbox at the time someone is going through my profile and I send them a thank you note for one or two projects and then I get flooded with favorites from that same person. This just happened today actually, and I ended up going back to her page 3 times to thank her because everytime I finished a thank you note (and mind you, I thanked her for about three projects each time) there would be more favorited messages in my inbox! lol. I have noticed though that some days I get like one or two favorites and then the next day I'll have 20 and I haven't posted any new tutorials! A lot of them are for one particular project and I've wondered a few times if I was repeat thanking people for the same project. But I'm always happy to take the time to thank others for liking my projects- it makes me realize that I'm not just doing it for myself. But its a choice that everyone makes. In contrast, I don't get that many thank yous from others when I favorite their work.

I'm not gonna comment or even justify myself on the off-topic discussion because it's hillarious ( where the heck did I insult ANYONE? )... and off topic.

This is fixed now. Eventually we'll get daily emails going out to tell you what activity there has been on your projects, if there has been any. Also check out the new notifications system!
