Girl. I STILL feel this way. I'm signed up for NINE SWAPS at the moment (YIKES)
I just love to practice. I love making new things I've never done and I love taking what I CAN do and twist it a bit for a different swap. And that's what it's all about- trading your own styles with another's and learning throughout the process. And, of course, making friends along the way. =)

What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?: ;) Um...Family BrainSurge...if it's supposed to be a song, "Count on You" by Big Time Rush is the last song I heard. And it's in my head.
I was in a brainstorming session with the Harry Potter Alliance (google it) and Imagine Better and in the near future, they want to attack this particular issue.
I admittedly say the "r" word out of sheer habit. It took me a LONG, LONG time to stop saying that things are "gay" as a negative thing because of how popular it is. I have tons of gay friends and it was still really, really hard. I'm trying to stop saying the "r" word.
I don't have anyone close to me who is autistic or otherwise handicapped, but I've met some wonderful people who are. There are ways to say to knock it off without being rude, like "you shouldn't say that" or "what if someone who IS retarded is around?"
I am confident that the percentage of people who say it will decrease in the near future. Along with people who are racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., there will always be negative people who are too ignorant to stop. I think we all just need to be a little more aware.
I got a wonderful surprise from Mary today!
The Harry Potter references and the owl made my day. I think I'm going to make him a necklace- I love him so much! The first quote reminds me of my favorite line from Batman. It's perfect.
Being sick, this definitely was its own brand of a Pepperup Potion!
Here's my new friend, Errol! <3
