My daughter's having a little birthday party on 22nd and i want to do party bags with things in that aren't rubbish (like the stuff they sell in the shops!) There will be 3 girls and 2 boys and my daughter, and was wondering if anybody had any ideas of little things i can make? gonna do little bracelets for the girls but that's all i've come up with so far!
It's REALLY annoying everytime you go to a new page on here it pops up, even if you clicked the cross on the previos page! I'm obviously signed in to post this so it must be the same for everybody else!
Any way to stop it popping up?
yeah!! like my "corchet butterflies" whoops
Nikki I <3 Arcade Fire!! Saw them last month again and they were AMAZING!! keep getting their songs stuck in my head (mostly Haiti atm). And Win Butler is yummy ;)
see i didn't think i had an accent...but people think i sound slightly welsh! I live in wales but was born in england...thing is where i live it's not even a "welshy" part of wales!!
thanks if not then i'll be playing with it haha!! i shall post it on here when i finish the lot!
Just that i did it!! i'm making my daughter a crochet tea set for her birthday and i did the teapot eventually!! now to do the cups also made little cookies and biscuits and cakes and apple slices and stuff <3 whoo whoo! x
a sewing machine!! or tools like a drill? or a saw?
agree with the fabric pens, my daughter loves makin t-shirts etc for people also baking is good if you get them to do the mixing and tipping stuffin the bowl.
Making cards for peoples' birthdays i always find fun. give them some card and different coloured wool and buttons to stick on and pens to draw on it. Or something simple like painting stones...they're great as random decorations when they're done too
Currently reading the Millenium triligy (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (read), The Girl Who Played with Fire (reading) and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest (next on the list!))
Really good books
Think i may try reading Lord Of The Rings next as i've never read them.
cheers, i've been cutting the junk out slowly really as i love chocolate! But now i'm preferring greek yoghurt with honey and strawberries when i want something sweet! Cranberry juice is a good idea,it clear all your insides out doesn't it?
Dunno where i should post this really....is anyone really into excercising? I really want to get rid of my baby belly! I'm a size 10 but still have my wibbly belly and i want it gone! What would be the best way? I'm guessing sit ups but aint got a clue how many i'd need to do and how long until i'd see results. I've started eating a lot better too cutting out junk and eating a lot more fruit as snacks.
Have another to add to my list after tomorrow! Going to See Arcade Fire with Mumford & Sons in Hyde Park, London....super excited!!
