that's very nice of you dear, but apparently people here don't really respond to such good deeds - they'd rather respond to people asking some random questions about TV shows. I've seen few threads like these with no answers including mine before.
good luck with the donations and sorry at the moment I cannot help.
Hi all, so I'm hosting a giveaway in DA (please keep reading through because anyone can enter and not just DA members). This giveaway is for a child in need. All you need is refer a child who needs and or deserves a toy (like if they're fighting cancer, a cause or just simply want a plush toy but can't afford one). There is also a thank you gift for you as the referee. so if you have someone in mind please go to the link, read through and submit your entry. It's open until 1st of March.
Thanks!

thank you pinkweeds!
Hi everyone, happy Christmas! To celebrate the opening of my etsy shop awhile ago I'm hosting a giveaway via a giveaway blog here: http://www.thisnthatwitholivia.com/bear-plush-giveaway-win/
It's easy, all you need to do is fill the rafflecopter form. I would really appreciate it if you would enter or spread the word. Thank you so much and good luck!
if you really like the snow globe idea, you can actually try to make terrariums too. or, if you like clay, you can also decorate them using your handmade clay miniatures instead of plants. I made a rose clay and put it in a plastic bauble and used it as my birthday cake topper.
If you like plushies you can always buy some sock and make sock animals. if you need reference hop over to my projects, who knows you find something that you want.
if its for kids, raven's suggestion to put it in a basket would be interesting. try to decorate the basket and put the catchy items in front. handing out your business card would also be great. colors also matter, try to be eye catching but not too much.
I have exactly the same problem. try this http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/my-8-bit-heart-2
it's a good blog for starters. mine is old and not much better (even more shameless) xD here is mine http://judithchenartworks.wordpress.com/
you're from Germany? I live there
I have two. one for general and academic papers I wrote http://judithchen.wordpress.com/ and one for crafting http://judithchenartworks.wordpress.com/
The terrarium and fire starters sounds like a good idea, though perhaps I can only put those in my boyfriend's parents' house. my apartment is way too small and doesn't have a fireplace, only a heater. Since I really love my new hat from Suzanne (kiddo) and so does my friends and my boyfriend's little sister - I think I'm also gonna make some hats for gifts. instead of socks they can also be filled with candies, and of course much more useful than oversized socks
- Anna: that reminds me of my little sister (she's turning 13 now) she never pronounce my name Judith, she said it u-dit like a baby, and she still does
hmm proudest moment...maybe when I got a PhD offer by the chair of a good university from US...I was in the verge of loosing it because I've just suddenly been told that I need to do extra credits (like 10, that makes me crazy - 6 is equal to a whole year class) because I didn't have the subject in my bachelor. Right short after my prof told me he's giving me a cutoff but I have two papers to do and have to help him in his conference with extra work, I got this offer in the conference when I was on duty - just out of the blue. The prof who offered me told me the reason is everyone that he talked to (other scholars) there said I'm a really good student. It lifts my desperation of still not being able to find a job here (I live in Germany) because my German is not so fluent.
