    I remember seeing male teams when it was originally out in the 80's, but I guess it went out of fashion after that. It seems to be punky girls who have brought it back now, which is awesome!

    That does sound really scary Shivi, I'm glad you got your bag back. I hate the thought of other people with my stuff or looking through it, grrrrr I hate thieves, someone stole my bag once.

    It does sound like you had fun aside from that, I'd love to visit China.

    Try yanking the needle out with pliers -- it happens to me all the time because I get too adventurous with materials I'm sewing with.

    I use to be rubbish at drawing, all through art school and then, when I felt like I didn't have to try hard and be good at it, I was much much better. I think it's because I'm more relaxed now and not overly panicky about how good the final result is.

    We don't really have a sports board, so I'll post it here. I've been a fan of roller derby since I was little. My mum use to play me old movies of all the American matches and I always wanted to grow up to do it. It's totally come back in to fashion and I'm off to watch a match on Saturday - http://www.londonrollergirls.com/. I can't wait. Anyone else a fan?

    Aww good for you queeny, you'll have loads of fun. It always seems like such a big thing moving somewhere, but in reality it's not that bad. We'll be back in Scotland during some of the fringe, as it ours birthdays, so maybe we can all catch a show together! zootm and Graham, you guys in too?

    I don't put any oil or fat in the frying pan when I cook my quesadillas anymore. I put the pan over the highest heat and after about 30 seconds it's toasted on one side, so I flip it and leave it for another 30 seconds until it's done.
