oops it's the wrong way up :/ but anyhow, I'll be posting the project here soon ^^
Zero! Thank you so much! I can't thank you enough, that's a really good idea and a really cute illustration you gave me
Thankfully I've let out the pleats and it's seeming to work fine...the only problem that might come up is the zipper being ruffled when I insert it but I'll work it out when that comes
Thanks again ^^
ARGH I had exactly the same thing...it's called Hook Timing Fix and here's a video on how to fix it...my dad spent forever fixing it, but in the end we bought a new machine for my birthday + Christmas present this year

She looks amazing! I think that out of my family, I am the most creative one, but the rest of my brothers and sisters are all academic so I'm classed as the black sheep of the family aha
Ooh thanks Robyn A! I had a look, their revision sources seem fairly good. There's a lot of videos though xD
...well, at least that's better than a lot of writing....
Ah, I'm going to try and take out the pleats a little around the skirt, and make them more shallow. This should *hopefully* add a little bit more on each side! Wish me luck!
(but Zero W. I'm still keen on hearing your ideas if you're willing to share) ^^
hey Zero W.... yeah the problem is the fact that it's not fitting around her waist. Like, the bodice is fine, but I literally have to pull it *so* tight around her waist and she basically can't breathe :/
Please!! Tell me any idea you have, I'm so desperate because I need it done before Friday and I have limited time due to exams too D;
Thanks PinkWeeds....the dress is this paper pattern http://www.simplicitynewlook.com/1420/ and dress C, the bodice has been attached to the waistband and there's no seam allowance in the waistband because it's pleated horizontally...sorry I should have made that clear :/
ARRGHHH panic!!
I'm making a prom dress for my sister and I'm nearly done....all I need to do now is put the zip in and hem the bottom of it. However, the dress seems not to fit now (it fitted before, and I haven't cut it at all). I will be putting an invisible zip in, but I can't actually squeeze the dress onto her....
her prom thingy is o Friday, so I really need your advice!
Thanks xxx
Hey guys,
I'm doing my GCSE mocks at the moment (and very soon I'll be doing the real thing). I basically suck at science, and my teacher told me about a guy on YouTube (called myGCSEscience). So I looked at his videos on P1 yesterday and they were amazing....
only a slight problem though, he's made most of his videos private now, so we have to pay to view them!!
Has anyone got any good revision sources for a visual learner like me?
Thanks so much
Steph xxx

Oh, the pains of being white...we all seem to blush a lot! I get teased a lot for it at school D;
Lots of my upcycling projects have turned into disasters pretty quickly! I usually throw them into the bottom of a cupboard before anyone else can see them, in the hope of making them amazing one day
(that's never gonna happen)
