Duke Special is a lovely man with ginger dreads who wears too much eyeliner and sings beautiful songs in an Irish accent. I have no idea who/what Duke Spirit is!

the duke spirit are a female fronted british alt band. they guested on the last UNKLE album. I do have some duke special songs including a cover of razorlights stumble and fall it is a very distinctive and rich accent that boys got

I like Duke Special, though I keep missing him every time he comes up to Scotland.
He's got that song that goes 'I don't want to stand still, I just want to freewheel', Graham.

I missed Vulgaras at the Knitting Factory last week and I'm going to miss Aimee Mann this week. Now I have my sites set on Dracula's Ball in Philadelphia for Valentine's Day, although I don't know who's playing yet! Oh, and I'm taking my kid to see Sweet Honey in the Rock in January.
