Which literary figure do you wish you had the chance to meet?

For me, it's always been Sherlock Holmes. I think that he and I are actually similar in many ways--obviously not how I am overemotional, of course. ;) I'd like to hope that he could make conversation with me. Happy

I've also always had a soft spot for harry potter. ;) What can I say?? If he were real (NOT Dan Radcliffe), I'd be all over that. :-P

A few weeks ago I read the Count of Monte Cristo and I'd love to meet him, or Inspector Rebus from Ian Rankin's books, or Sirius Black from the Harry Potters, there are probably more but I can't remember off the top of my head=)

My dad read me the series of books about Carbonal the witches cat and I would have loved to have him Happy Also the borrowers would be so cool to meet. Sherlock Holmes also has to be a must, I love his cutting little observations. Also Tessa in the novel Before I Die. Thats an amazing book, not a happy ending as you can probably guess from the title and I'd have probably wanted to give her a slap a few times but I wept buckets when she died and almost felt I needed to say goodbye.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, how about the Cat in the red Hat, from Dr Seuss, although Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom would be cool and Proffesser McGongall

I'd love to meet Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice, I just think she is the coolest chick ever. I'd also love to meet Jacob Black from the twilight series. I'm team Edward but I think Jacob has the best personality in the world, I imagine that one afternoon with him and you are the happiest person in the world!
And um... let's see... I'd love to meet Richard the texan, from Eat, Pray, Love, but he is an actual real person so I think that's my most realistic wish so far.

Moll Flanders would have been a good person to meet.

Argh I can't remember the characters name, but the little girl in "The Queen's Fool" by Phillipa Gregory who plays the fool, she had a very complex life. But definatly interesting!!

Definitely want to meet Jem and Scout from to Kill a Mockingbird. Actually probably Atticus too! Failing that Winston from 1984 would be pretty cool too.

I love Atticus, when I read the book I wished my dad would be more like him. So I told him his homework was to read that book and try and change his attitude lol
