How do you regain momentum after a bad crafting experience?

Hey everyone,

I've just had a bad experience in Crafter To The Stars (http://www.craftertothestars.com), where a blogger I was crafting for pulled out after receiving my craft. I can't help but feel a little low about the whole thing, so I was wondering if you guys had any tips on rebuilding the momentum and making yourself feel better?

You guys always have the best advice,
Cat xo

Ingredients:
A cup of tea
Chocolate
Your favourite craft blogs

Method:
Browse through your favourite websites, gathering inspiration, while drinking tea and eating chocolate. Look through all of the crafts you've already made that have been great successes, reminding yourself how talented you are. Find something you've always wanted to try, and give it a go.

Cat, you're an amazingly talented crafter, and if someone pulled out, then it's their loss. All of us here know how incredible the things you make are. Happy

Funny you should mention this, I just sort of had one of my own with the Christmas Swap. I would just suggest that you appreciate the good experiences and not to let the bad ones discourage you from continuing to do what you do. It is disheartening to know that not everyone is as thoughtful and reliable as you are but unfortunately, that's just how things are. I would say in the future just be more careful about who you offer your assistance to. I'm not much of a chocolate fan but some hot chamomile tea or wassail should make things better Happy

I agree whole heartily! Tea and chocolate are amazing at raising our spirits Happy I love looking back on the awesome swaps I've done or gifts I've given and rereading the thank you cards from friends who just adore what I made for them! It's easy to forget how awesome we are when someone make us start second guessing our work. But we all have those "swaps gone sour" experiences, we just have to learn to remind ourselves that it's not us, it's them who is missing out!

You rock Cat! Just keep moving forward <3
