Time Wasted For A Contest Entry

Aaaahhh! I spent the last THREE WEEKS working on my corset-laced jean project to enter for the contest, for which entries closed today, only to wait for the past 20 hours for it to be published so I can enter it and now the competition entries have closed and my project STILL isn't uploaded. I can understand if the team are busy but I waited up until 11pm last night (on a school night) waiting for it to be published so I can enter it, and Crafterella was even online and some new projects got added and mine still says "awaiting approval." I'm so angry right now because I wasted my studying time working my butt off on this project and now I couldn't even enter it because it wasn't uploaded in time =

Send them a note explaining situation if you want too.
I don't post projects because it just takes ages and I struggle with the process.

Seems strange how slow the project acceptance is now a days considering that we are doing more of the work to get it published faster. I'm sorry that you weren't able to get it in Happy That sounds super cool! I really can't wait to see it now!

@Essex Debs, posting projects is easy for me and it's NEVER taken more than 4 hours for my projects to get approved and published, no matter what time it is here.

I know what you mean! It seems like the time it takes to get posted is anyone guess lately. Some times its up and posted within a few hours and only with like 3 other projects and then other times it takes forever and we get like 2 PAGES of new projects. Which sucks for anyone on the first page, because it gets pushed back, and never even gets to be on the front page of the Projects.

Im with Debs though, you should totally send them a note. Because they should be able to see that you posted it for approval before the end of the contest. And after that point it was out of your hands. Also what if it was a technical error or something, I'm sure they will grant you some leeway.

I don't know if they'd do anything about it because I couldn't enter the project because only published projects could be entered and mine wasn't published in time to be entered. I will message Crafterella though. I haven't seen her online at all today (I was waiting online for them to publish my project and was frequently checking) so maybe they had a technical problem and couldn't publish any projects

Oh mannn - they sound great though, can't wait to see them.

Since I started posting here it takes about 2 days average to post my projects.

But I had my most recent two - the annabelle doll & HK bag were up in i think about a day :/ I thought that was normal. I hope they make an exception & allow your entry into the contest :<
