Bra Sizing Is Never Right
hey for cute larger bras check jcp.com Ambrielle they go up to a DDD and are cute don't mean to advertise but they are great
And that is the maddness of Canada. Bras for under 40 dollars, though I am confused because when my mother went to Las Vegas clothes were really really cheap there.
It isn't true for all states? For the people that live in the U.S.A
depends on the store and your idea of cheap on average i pay 17 dollars for a good bra my favortie one actually!
What? I just got back from Vegas and EVERYTHING was over-priced, especially clothes!
Oh, I should add my mom is a crazy shopper and went to outlet stores. =D Though she said the stores like 'DC brand' and Roxy stores where a lot cheaper then they are here in Canada. For a Roxy tee shirt it would easily be $25 +.
I love my big chest! I actually got a new bra 4 months ago, (it'd been a while) in the right size. (38D) And now theyre pushed up & perfect, but they look HUGE. XD It actually made all my clothes tighter/smaller, & theyre the 1st things u see now. HaHa! It took me like 1-2 months to get used to the way they look. But i love them. Going up another size was scary tho.
If ur having problems finding bras, i SWEAR by "victoria secret". Go to 1 of their stores, and ask help for someone to fit you (look for someone who knows what theyre doing). You will have an amazing experience! (at least i did) They will find ur size (if u think theyre wrong, tell them), then they have a whole trolley of "sample bras" in all the styles that they sell (which is a lot) to try on & pick from. You might be ther for a few hours (i was there for 3hrs 1st time!!)... but it is SOOOO worth it! They sell for bigger girls too (i know cuz my sister's very big lol). The only drawback is there bras are kinda expensive... but they last for years.
Me & my sister also get bras at 'Lane Bryant', where they only sell to bigger girls. They also size you (but theyre not always right). They're sizes are a lil screwy there sometimes (like if ur a D cup, u wear a C cup there). And i dont think theyre as comfortable as VS. But theyre nice & resonably priced.
Some bra rules i've learned also:
If u dont know ur size ...if u have spillage anywhere, u need a bigger cup. If your band cuts in or makes rolls around you, u need a wider band #. Your bra band (when u buy a new bra), should fit tight but comfortably on the 2nd row of hooks (most have 3 rows). This is so if u gain/loose weight around, you can adjust the hooks without buying a new bra. This also helps for when your bra stretches overtime.
Hope this helped someone.
