Michelle is right - satisfy yourself, who cares who likes or dislikes your hobby. So long as you do that's all that matters...

May is right, make something for Christmas.

Make an evil bunny in a santa outfit, that would be soooo cool!!!

That's why I think children are the best artists.
They don't care!
If they want the sky to be purple, then they make the sky purple!
Her hair is gonna be green and his blue -- that's how it is.
Reality can be boring, and it's refreshing to see something different.
Keep on with the pink bunnies! They're fabulous!!!

As for rude people, well I can speak from experience.
Not being on the recieving end of a rude person (I believe we all have to deal with that), but BEING a rude person.
In the past year, I've lost and gained so much.
5 years ago, I was the so rude and mean, cutting people down all the time, just to make others laugh.
It's so much eaiser to be mean then actually find kind words to say.
I was so unhappy with myself and in a way, I wanted to drag people down with me.
Now, 5 years later, I have much better friends and I make a point to be nice to people everyday and say as many truthfully kind things as I can.
My soul feels so much better.

Don't you ever let rude people get you down!
If their words don't bring anything positive into your life, then they don't even need to be in your ears, mind, heart, or soul.

Hi Heather

I like the idea of thinking outside the box and pink bunnies rule! As do blue cats and purple bats.

Throughout history we have artists that didn't go with the flow. Picasso with his blue period, Gaugin with his miss use of tonal values and more recently the pop art movement, particulary Andy Warhol who said 'Don't pay any attention to what they write about you. Just measure it in inches'

Most adults lose the ability to have fun with their imagination and that's the basis for creativity.

I've recently posted a cat scarf which is candy striped in orange, green and yellow and lovingly called it Road Kill just for the fun of it.

I made it about a year ago for an eccentric friend who dyed her hair and bought stripey socks to match.

As for rude comments about projects. Some people just don't have the creative skills with writing or the understanding of the creative process required to be individual. They will never be alone with the rest of the clones!

I like to thank people for their comments and if I get a rude one I thank them too, just to confuse them.

End quote from Eric Hoffer
'Rudeness is a weak imitation of strength'
