Who cringes at the sound of their own voice?
yes I rarely like other peoples pics of me too, I usually look like an idiot, my boyf knows no side profiles lol
god I wish my boyfriend knew that. the three quarter view is the most flattering!
Cat, aren't you scottish? I looooooooove the scottish accent so much. If I had it i'd happily listen to myself talk all day.
I absolutely hate how my voice sounds on video! It just sounds terrible. I don't know if other people hear it that way or what.
My friends neighbors just moved in the house next to them and we didn't want anyone to live there because we were in the process of taking down the shed. So we tool their cart and rode it down the street!
I Hate my voice, i sound lower voice in my head, but i have a high squeaky voice.I hate it alot.
I can't even reconise my voice on video but I don't think it sounded too bad
Oh my god, I'm doing filming stuff for media and it's got a few bits where my voice is on it telling people what to do, and it is SO low and horrible!
I've been told I sound like Alice in Wonderland which would be completely wonderful if it wasn't a total lie.
That's a beautiful thing to say!
I get told I sound like a sarcastic, disgruntled, posh Bristolian. Oh dear.
Cat, I really like your accent, it's so funny! I don't mean that neggative in any way, just so you know.
Cat I'm finally listening to one of your podcasts and as I just said to my tom "Cat Morley has the most adorable voice ever"
which was swiftly followed by "i'm listening to a podcast, zomg!" (I am a notorious luddite, and podcasts have always seemed a step too far.)
Cat is well scottish, I have said this before LOL I think my voice sounds like my age and kinda deep but it's really girly and high pitched and stupid sounding.
i sound liek my dad when im on the phone apparently, all his friends think im him at least, and hey afterall what 20yr old female doesnt want to sound like thei 55 year old father lol. although when im on camera my voice is totally differnt its this squeakier version of what i think my voice is. and then when i actually talk into a microphone i sound like a prepubesent boy with all the voice cracks and everything, its totally bizarre.
I would also like to disagree with the whole actors not liking to hear themselves talk..... they so love it, most of the time they dont stop, ever or when they stop talking they start singing. im in a college program for technical theatre and we are the partner program to the musical theatre program, i spend way too much time with singing dancing actors. and when i come home to get away from the noise and open my bedroom window all i can hear is an actor in the floor below me doing her scales..... for 3 and a half hours a night.... AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH
I haven't lived in Ireland for 5 years, but both me and the boyf still have full accents. Maybe as we are together we are still hearing them, so we haven't lost them yet. I will admit to putting on a posher kind of english accent sometimes, as some people (other foreigners) can't understand me, especially when I say three hehe
