Barack isn't even president yet!

I saw this, of course they did it to a fucking woman! (they altered her photo)

Oh yeah, fucking lovely that is.

Barack isn't president but he has admitted that he's not gonna do some things he said he was. I'm unimpressed. Still, better than McCain (please don't prove me wrong Mr Obama)

yeh I'm really annoyed he lied basically, but that's what politicians do best....

I think she looked just as nice without the photoshopping!

I agree, she looked fine without the photoshopping, but apparently a real woman looking like her normal self isn't good enough for the AP.

It wasn't the AP that photoshopped it. Someone in the military did it. The AP stopped distributing it when they realised it was shopped, they have a strict no altering rule.

Because we're women and we should look 100% at our best all the time, and our only purpose in life is to be gawped at, of course.

It only mentioned the flag in that article - clearly missing out the fact that she's been airbrushed to look about twenty years younger.

I know Kitten, that bugged me! I didn't figure she herself was shopped until I saw the two side by side, I was like eh HELLO, the woman was blatantly airbrushed there.
I admit the original was a bit blurry, but surely they could have taken a better quality photo of her and not have had to resort to that!

Yeah it is blurry, but it's not just that - they've given her a better complexion and taken away all her wrinkles. And if this paper really cared that much, they could have just taken a good picture of her.

Well thats the thing it wasn't a paper that took the photo, it was released by the actual military! They just grabbed a photo of her and "spruced" it up.

Oh that's even worse. Papers will always do stupid things like that, but the army really shouldn't be that ridiculous. Haha, wait, what am I saying...
