hello!

Hi! I'm Cherise and I'm in to yarny crafts. I knit, spin, cross stitch and crochet a fair bit but used to make jewellery and do paper crafts, make collages and do art journalling. I hope to start getting more involved on here and posting projects but I'm self employed so spare time tends to be spend on crafting and relaxing, making dinner and chilling with my cat Spook and partner Tim. It's my birthday today! I'm 31! I hope everyone's having a crafty day.

Hi everyone! I was given yarn (purple and teal, then a fluffy black with gold ribbon), purple fluff for spinning on my wheel, a gift card to my local yarn shop (lys) Knit Nottingham, a gift voucher for Etsy, some shower smellies, chocolate, more fluff and sari silk for spinning, a silver necklace and pendant and a book of cat pictures and quotes about relaxation

Thanks everyone, the gifts were so lovely and personal! For a long time I was given lavender things (allergic) and white choc (don't like). I think I like most things and don't tend to complain, and because I'd mentioned not liking these things, people thought, 'oh, Cherise said something about these, I'll get her some!' haha

I'm currently making a shawl with some of the yarn. I made my own birthday cake because I like baking =) It was sugar free brownie because Tim is diabetic and was amazing! Tim made us lasagnes (veggie for me) for birthday dinner. It was delish!
