The Dark Knight
I've seen both those and never knew who he was.
I saw The Dark Knight today, I have to give Bale some credit too. It was really good. Heath was amazing as I expected, apparently he spent a month in a hotel room working on his character and now he's gone
He probably did see the film or some of it before he died he was working on another film.
iYeah but he didn't get to see like the premier or anything, or see the success of it. They half-made the other film; it's about a guy who goes through a mirror into other worlds, and they filmed all the bits with Ledger in the normal world so they're gonna have a bunch of other actors being him in the other world. It should still be good.
Of course Bale was fantastic, he's Bale! He did get overshadowed by Ledger but I kinda feel like Bale didn't mind; he loved Heath Ledger.
Yeah, I heard that too. Watching it, you just know that he put loads of thought into how to play it. It's in the voice and the licking his lips, all the little things that make a character, like Stanislavski said everything you do in a performance has to be for a reason, and that reason is generally to give across the impression of a person.
I get to see it again this weekend <3
I don't like that sound that the licking lips thing makes but it was all to do with the character so.
That other film sounds amazing!!!!
Yeah, people who lick and smack their lips make me feel sick, but that's why it was so good. It totally repulsed me and that's what it was meant to do haha.
I hate noises to do with saliva, soap actors tend to do it when they re open their mouths for a new line. Reporters and being being interviewd always do it too it's like the microphone picks up the movement of it in their mouths!!!
Anyway I keep feeling really sad about Heath Ledger now!
My parents are really bad for it, they always lick their lips and make sucky noises with saliva, it pisses me off to no extent =(
I loved it, we went to see it in the iMax (who were running it around the clock at the weekend) and everyone was cheering and clapping - it was awesome.
aaw I want to see it in IMAX!
I went to see it once again tonight, and it was still just as great!
I'm actually thinking about making myself a Harley Quinn costume for Halloween. Granted, I find her character annoying but it's been said that her and I have a lot in common. Really loud, squeaky, high pitched voices and the ability to fall for the wrong guys haha I think I'll give it a shot though.
This Batmania thing is really getting to me. I used to be obsessed with the Batman cartoons as a kid and now I've been watching them every night!
Hehe I went to see it again and just noticed things I didn't see last time! So it was more amazing. Going to see it again on Friday
Aww I love Harley, I dressed up as her for Halloween a few years ago after sewing her mask. I really want to make the whole costume now though - I wish it was acceptable to go out dressed like her everyday!
Darling Chelsea, a Harley Quinn costume would awesome! I'm not a sewer so it looks like it might be a lot of work, but cool none the less.
I'm going to see the movie this weekend hopefully. I loved the first one and I'm a big Christain Bale and Heath Ledger fan, so I'm really excited to see it. My dad said it was amazing (how dare he go without me!) and that I really have to see it. I'll take his advice
I've never made anything from scratch before so I'm going to have to start early for practice and stuff if I'm going to make it.
It never gets boring, the Dark Knight and it's a long movie too!
It's weird though, people keep telling me that they expected it to end sooner and I know it's a long film but I can't think of a single point in the film where it seems like the end until the actual end.
