Yeah it's supposedly the scariest film since The Shining. I mean obviously I'd say it was scarier but I guess it means like, when The Shining first came out.

I'm hopefully going to watch The Other Boleyn Girl tomorrow =)

I am sooo jealous Kitten! I want to see the Other Boleyn Girl! The book was soo good!

I'm not a fan of Horror films, not because they scare me, but because i fall asleep thinking about how i would make it be scarier and i get some really freaking scary nightmares.

I don't like gore and I don't like psycological things and I don't like very rubbish story lines where they run but the killer still finds them even though he is walking!

I don't like gore because I'm really squeamish but I can handle it. I think this film bothered me so much because it was really edge-of-your-seat. And mostly in films I can predict when something's gonna happen but I couldn't in that. I suffer from panic attacks and get really nervous so I think that kind of thing just has a bad effect on me.

I don't want to go to bed, she's gonna be in my room =( wish me luck..

You really should watch the whole film when you can Knitten Kitten, because when it's over and you think about it all, it's not actually scary. It's the way it's filmed, which is that they use your fear of scary movies against you. I really want to see it again now, the tension was amazing(as I said)

I have to say though, the Shining was way scarier for me.

I will watch it when it comes out on DVD cause the storyline looks really good.

I still thought the woman with the horrible face was gonna be in my room last night. I don't like her very much.

Anyway, Other Boleyn Girl was kickass, I almost cried at one point (maybe I'm just very emotional this weekend?). Does anyone know if it's true though? I wasn't sure if it was like a little-known fact, or they just made it up

I used to thing the Shining was a comedy for a loooong time because of the cover of the video/dvd!

It might be true about Other Boleyn Girl, but they probably added to the story, dramatised it up a bit to make it movie worthy.

Yeah I did notice that she didn't have the sixth finger (I suppose because it wouldn't be as glamorous), and wasn't she the one that it took like six strokes to cut her head off? And when they cut it off, they swung a sword at her when she was knelt up, so her head would have flown, not just dropped to the floor. But that wouldn't be pleasant.

Ohoh and she had the same necklace as Ugly Betty!

HAHAHAHAHA.

I don't really remember all the stuff about the wives, I really enjoyed history though just can't remember much about it. I was in the ceramics room at college while some class was in there and they were talking about high school and one of them said 'I was like that, what's the point of history, what's the point about knowing about the past' duuuuh ignorant ungrateful sod! Learning about the world wars got old though even though we should know what they went through for us.

I only remembered that it was "Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived". I think that only certain parts of history appeal to certain people. I was mostly bored by the world wars and Tudors and Stuarts, but if we'd done ancient Egypt or vikings or something I would have been happy

ooo I loved doing about Egypt, I think we did vikings and romans but I don't remember much. We did the celts in year 3 and made golden brooches with dry pasta and card and all got blue war face paint put on!!!! You don't get the full picture at that age, they tell you that the vikings were barbarick and cruel, but they all were, they make out like they were all best friends with the celts or whoever lol everyone was sort of blood thirsty thats the way you survived and how business was done. Once the teacher told us what our ancestry probably is from the colours of our hair, I was viking or celt, more celt with scottish blood in the family probably Happy.

I just saw There Will Be Blood... It was a brilliant story and Daniel's portrayal of the "oil man" was chilling, he totally deserved his awards for the role. The score was also fab too Happy

OOOH I have to take back what I said above about The Orphanage being directed by Guillermo Del Torro, it is just presented by him, it is directed by Juan Antonio Bayona Happy

I'm really torn with Egyptians because I'm really fascinated by it but it terrifies me. I HATE museum exhibits for it and I have a huge problem with displaying mummies. I think it's really disrespectful; they went to all that effort, spent loads of money and invested time and energy in making sure their dead were respected, and we shove them in a glass box. Charming.

And Opposites?! EVIL!
