where are you from whats in style
all those ideas are great corrie!!! I'll have to get some really nice good fabric for them. I'm currently embroidering some plain boring vest tops but it's taking ages because I'm lazy, gonna do it with some jeans too
I have a tattoo of a fairy there's a picture on the tatts and peircing thread
aww thats cute you gotta show we the finished product im working on some stuff too i cant wait till its done so i can post it in swaps ;)
im from L.A. which im sure you all know seems like they put all kinds of syles in a blender and mixed together...you can find ANY STYLE here...
usually i wear this...
skinny jeans
long tee
vans flats
tote bag
straight razor cut hair (red hair)
big sunglasses
black eyeliner (winged)
lipgloss
very little blush
L.A. seems so alien to me. I've been to New York but it felt very much like cities here (UK) in a way but bigger and I know that New York 'is just not L.A' I only got a taste of a small part of the US. My favourite band are from California, Palm Desert oo I can't think about it it makes me crave it! So it makes it seem even more alien!
corrie - my mum doesn't think it's a good idea to cut up my jeans! I think it will be easy though! I still need to get some good quality fabric.
ah it will be fine just make sure you use i little bit of math to get the angles right once she sees the finished product she will think your a genious
I live in two different provinces for (one for school, one is where I am from)....
sadly the 80's have made a return, lots of Tunic shirts and leggings.
indie thrifter is in, lots of old man shirts with coloured skinny jeans and thrifted shoes (value village is making a killing)
Country cowboy is big (farming province....everyone wants to ride a cowboy...right?)
Ballet flats are huge...
Punk is big as well
And as far as I go.....I dress how i want......I'm not into fashion to be honest, I love classic pieces that never really go out of style as well as a bunch of really eclectic unique pieces that are never really in style.
To be honest, most people seem to be wearing the same kind of thing. I know I'm recognising exactly what most people on here say
ugh, I wish people dressed in things like that here in vegas.
Here.. its is OBNOXIOUS as hell! People here all think they are better than everyone else and they all wear the EXACT SAME THING. Its so boring!
me and my friends are VERY different. we get complimented at school a lot, which is weird, because... our "different" is most people "just plain NOT DONE" lol.
its fun though, it brings smile's to people's faces.
Here in colorado, or at least in my area, everyone dresses so damn boring. Theyve all raided the prep shops quite thoroughly. There are quite a few "scene" kids, basically they brought back the 80s, and punk as well. Scarves are making a strange appearance, also. But in the city, there is much more variety. The gangster kids ad the prep kids al think they are the best because, like in vegas, they all dress the same.
geez, maybe its just the central west, or whatever this region is called.
Maybe! Well luckily, in a few years, I'M GETTIN THE HELL OUTTA DODGE! lol. I'm going to one of three AMAZING places. New York City, London Uk, or Tokoyo Japan [and I realize they are all fashion capitals, which I haddn't noticed until yesterday, but that isn't why I want to go there]
Hey Disarray, I hear Milan's nice *wink*
Milan was not nice for us! It was a motorway and like a mini supermarket that was so confusing.
anyways has anyone noticed this cowboy thing coming in at the moment? nauhtical to cowboy in a few months gah!
Dammit, does this mean I have to start searching for cowboy boots again?
Aaw my friend loved Milan. She brought me back this pack of matches with Virgin Mary on but it's all glittery and tacky. It's awesome
hahah yah....I started to see cowboy boots in Toronto and I couldnt help but smile, it was home...except without the actual cowboys. I want to see Wranglers make a comeback in fashion...the ultimate and the forefather to the skinny jean for men!
New Look have an awesome pair of Cowboy boots, £25. I was like Russell Brand ‘If I have them boots, I will be truly happy – that is what’s missing from my life….them fecking boots' but I didn't have 25 quid and I'm a bit unsure about whether to buy things made of leather or not! My whole reason for being vegetarian is so that animals don't have to die for my sake so really I shouldnt buy leather but it's hard to find a good pair of waterproof shoes that aren't leather I'll have to find a vegan shoe shop.
