Favorite fashion designers?

For me, it's definitely Vivienne Westwood, I love all of her designs and wish I could afford them. I also like Joey D, a designer in Edinburgh who reconstructs jackets and bags out of old army clothes, he's so cool.



Here's a bag he gave me on my birthday. I have another one that has bullets on the strap (which is a nightmare when going through airports) and Tom has a huge collection of his jackets.

I like vivienne westwood's skirt bustles, but I really hate the fashion photography and I went into her shop once and nearly died, it felt like the workers were looking at me going "you can't afford this! get out!" and so i let them win and ran away Sad

i don't really dig fashion designers that much. I kinda love mary quant, not for inventing the mini skirt but for inventing tights. oh yeah i love me some tights.

my favourite clothing makers you probably couldn't call a fashion designer, one is more of a make your own clothes teacher (she did the book 'Yeah! I made it myself!' (Eithne Farry) ) and the other is just a bit of an eccentric. I love Leigh Bowery, gimp masks and sequins are definitely the way forward.

I LOVE Miu Miu shoes. They're so quirky. The problem is, I get Bazaar magazine, but I will never be able to afford anything in here.

I'm not a follower of fashion at all lol I don't read any fashion/girly mags, I just buy what I like which is usually online and alternative.(alienskinclothing mmm)
I do like shoe designers though lol Not that I even wear those kind of shoes, I do like Miu Miu as Kitten said and I like, I think they are Louboutin, with the red soles mmm sexy.

I went through a serious stiletto fetish a few years back... lol

Aaah I love the red soles now because Dita Von Teese said they're really sexy and I'm obviously pretty easily influenced! I see what she means though, there's something very seductive about a black shoe but seeing that flash of red as you walk. We had some that looked like an imitation of them in work, they had the red sole and all but they sold out of my size before I could buy them!

Mmmm I love shoes too, I really love Irregular Choice, which are actually affordable. I have these ones, though I can't walk in them at all - I got a similar pair that are kitten heels that I can walk in too.

Oh yeah, I love Irregular Choice.

Yeah Opposites,I have a wedge fetish too =P I have these beautiful TUK wedges that are like 3" high and black with white roses all over them, ankle strap and peep toe. I wear them at any opportunity, especially gigs!

Oh by the way, there's a pair of shoes at my work that I wanted ages ago but they were £25 and although they're beautiful (quite high heel, straps over the front in matt and shiny black, sling back) they'd be hard to walk in for long periods of time. They've now gone down to £5, and £4.50 for me (maybe even £3.75, I have to check what discount I can get). Should I buy them?
