What to wear to events in school? (student)

Well.. I am 14 years old girl. Happy
And next week in my school is organized a ceremonial event.. (bornig)
I do not know what to wear. I will sit at least 2 hours, so I need something comfortable.. My style is somehow emo, or punk- rocker.
Any suggestions?

yeah, wear good jeans or a nice skirt, and a cool tee. but be yourself..
like, what would you wear to a family meeting? i usually put on extra nice clothes for those.
don't wear like, ripped tees and stuff. just a bit more basic, that's allways good i think.

yeah, just keep it simple. and don't wear things that are totally different from what you usually wear, it might look weird. and people will probably stare at you then. but in my case they do that sometimes anyways.
