I know it sounds kind of nerdy but its SO fun! it rawks! the drums are my fave

Heheee, i have it too Happy Myself and my chap are also GH fans, so this seemed logical! I love the downloadable songs, they had "Still Alive" from the game "Portal" on there for free download, i was so chuffed!

My best friends boyfriend has rockband, and I have Guitar Hero 2 and 3. I love ALL of them, but I really like that you can play drums on rock band Happy

its SO FUN, but SO HARD... and the fact that I'm expert at Guitar Hero and Easy on drums on Rockband really annoys me Happy

I love being good.. but I hate getting good, lol. but yea, it is SO fun!

My boyfriend and I play marathon sessions of RockBand together and take turns singing and playing guitar. He's way better at guitar than I am (I'm still on medium after all this time) and I'm much better at singing than he is, but we both like doing both.

I'm not really sure how to feel about Rockband 2 coming out here pretty soon... I thought the entire point of having downloadable content for Rockband was to keep it infinitely playable. Any thoughts on this?

And what about Guitar Hero World Tour, which is rumored to be a direct "ripoff" of Rockband, with its own microphone and drums? I gotta say that Neversoft has really turned the Guitar Hero franchise from something cool to a stupid advertising mule. Harmonix did it best and will always do it better.

We are big fans of Guitar Hero, and since Rockband comes from an offshoot of the original creators of GH, they can be similar without getting legally complicated! We have the guitar and the drums since neither of us particularly likes singing. I am loving the drums, but its so hard to get my arms and legs moving independently at the right times, so I'm only on easy mode for now Happy it is good fun, although I'm wearing down the drumsticks already!

My husband and I also started with Guitar Hero. Friends of ours got Rockband for Christmas and got us addicted in our first 10 hour sitting. My husband got it for his birthday a month later...we've been rocking out ever since. Our two-year-old daughter has also been known to sing along or headbang to our favorite toons. My husband and I both have music heavy backgrounds and LOVE playing this game.

I played Rock Band yesterday! I was truly awful. I could just about do bass and singing on the songs I know, but oh my god- me on drums. we were in tears of laughter. I got a 1 note streak when we played Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs. During it, I was convinced I was doing brilliantly. So much fun!
