ooh, the £1 rail at the charity shop! Great for pairs of jeans (especially the *big* sizes for more fabric!) that will one day be bags or something!

Totally guilty but really trying to come to terms with saying "no thanks" to new stash.
The only thing I really need is time to use up all my supplies.

oh to have a craft room - any suggestions for getting the children (especially the grown(ish) up ones) to leave home?

charge them rent. if you don't use the money set it aside in a savings account so that when they do leave they have a downpayment (or part of one) for a house. gail vos-oxlade from debit due us part suggests that. not only does it force them to save money but teaches (hopefully) them to budget their money.

Dragonfly, I used to collect paper, too! I quite when I moved and it all got put in a box to donate to charity. I don't even know how that happened : (

Panda, that sounds like one hell of a yard sale! I would have picked those items up, too.

Julie, I pick up clothes at the "buy one, get one free" sale at my local thrift store, as well. I saved someone from buying a leopard print skirt that no one should be wearing last year LOL. As for getting the kids out of your house, I have no idea. I left and my mom called me back with a fake sickness. She was just lonely. People thought I had "failure to launch" syndrome.

Luna, I collect yarn and don't even knit. I use it for doll hair, which I haven't been making lately...still I bought some the other day.

I'm a compulsive hoarder Happy anything that looks nice I want, especially if it looks unique. yarn, fabric, buttons, paint, thread, fur, dvds, books, games, lights OMG lights I love things that change colour. my bedroom is decorated 24/7/365 with xmas lights, disco lights, small cube colour changing lights. And cuddly toys (shh) a few rings, many necklaces and bracelets.
The only thing I've gotten and not hoarded or had more then 1 of is my fiancé lol

Nikki, In most cases, one fiance is a handful...any more than that, well you would be over your head in cooking and cleaning and caring.

Stick to hoarding the other things : )
