How do you like my paint colours?

Ok so my parents wanted to paint their house and they had no clue what to do so they asked me to help them pick some out. After a year of arguying, mind changing, and convincing I finally got them to agree on colours. So we just finished painting and I want an outsider's opinion on it.

As you can see the furniture is still out of place and covered so please excuse the clutter in the rooms.

Just to give you guys an idea of how big this change really is I should tell you that my parents have always lived in white. I grew up in an apartment that they had for 20 years and it was all white then when we moved to this house that we've been in for 12 years to get rid of the ugly walpaper my prents had the whole house painted white until 1 day ago. We have hardwood floors and the baseboards were also wood but I painted them out in white and the entire living room/dining room/hallway is in the lighter colour in the pic which is really a light gray with a brown/green tint and there's one accent wall in dark blue/green.

Judging from the picture are the colours nice? Was I crazy?
