your scars
ooh ouch pam, I hurt my knee and I know how painfull it is
you can still wear long skirts, get some linen and make some peasent style skirts!
I have loads of scars most. One somewhere on the back of my head from when i was about 4 or 5 and i cut my scalp on the corner of a wall (didnt realise they could be so sharp but apparently they can) One on my right eyebrow from when i was about 6 when some boy threw a rock at me (I did get maltesers from his mum as an apologie lol) Both those ended up with me in hospital needing my head glueing and sterristrips. I also have a couple (on arm and chest) which im a bit self concious about because they were actually the result of a violent ex who I got rid of ages ages
you need a hug crafty- violence is never the answer. I am glad you threw him away
Thank you, I came out the other side a stronger person and found my fiancee
I have a scar by my ear from a spider bite, it seems I'm allergic to them.
I have scars on both ankles. The one on my right is from being a babyand the hospital an IV in my foot it got infected and I ended up with a big hole that has healed about 6 cm long and looks like its where my foot and ankle are attached. The left one was done last year when I had to have reconstructive surgery after snapping the ligament on a trampoline, so my feet look like parts of frankestines monster!
Got the obligiatory appendix scar, one on my lip where as a four year old I thought it'd be fun to blow in the dogs face.....
And finally one on my knuckle from the most stupid thing I've ever done, when working behind a bad I got a piece of lime stuck in the slicer and decided to poke it out with my finger!
dont laugh but, once i ran into a poleand i got stiches on my chin and the mean principal draged me to the office (the long way) so a whole bunch of people saw me crying and lip, chin, and teeth busted up.;( i got detention for "running " which is sad and mean
so.... yea but, i dont have any pictures of my chin♥
ooh ouch
i got a scar on my chin once and thats all i got to say......:|
I've got a couple down my leg from being chased by cows when I was 8 and I jumped over a barbed wire fence and slipped, silly me! Also got one on my knee from a car crash where the engine pushed the plastic under the steering wheel outwards which cut my knee, it was a very lucky one and I was in so much shock that I didnt realise it had happened until the medics came round and noticed I had blood all down my knee.
I have only two visible scars that I ever actually notice. You don't actually see them unless you're looking for them.

They're like in a wide V across my upper knuckle. I don't know what the more noticeable one is from, but I do remember the little, fainter one.
I was pumpkin carving 3 or 4 years ago, and the knife slipped and I stabbed my finger. I was screaming, and my sister was talking on the phone and complaining to her friend about it. I had a band-aid on it for about a week (it really hurt!) and then I took it off and noticed that I couldn't feel a thing on the top of that finger from the bottom knuckle to the nail.
Now I have a really, really awful feeling whenever I touch that finger, like when you have really cold hands and dunk them into hot water. It's DISGUSTING! I hate it even more than the public school systems and the new Michigan driving laws. Oh well.
So I really neither like nor dislike them as far as looks go. It just sucks to not be able to like people touching your hands. Having to shun physical touch is one of the worst things...
Does anyone know anything about nerve regeneration and what might have actually happened??
hmm I don't, have you seen a doctor?
No, it's not really a big factor in anything, I don't even notice it most of the time. It's just annoying sometimes, but I don't think it's worth any physical therapy (or the nerve equivalent), and it's too late anyways.
all my scars are sports related
my two main ones is one on my to the side of my elbo which is from infant school where a teacher made us play ruby on tarmac I had a deep graze running the length on my arm.
and one just above my eye brow which is from being hit with a golf club
