Are you a messy crafter?
Yep... my problems is mostly bits of thread, as soon as I start sewing the floor get quickly covered with discarted thread which takes ages to clean... I recently crochet a quilt blanket, and I am convinced that when I move out I will find a stash of squares that I had lost somewhere in the flat and which would have saved me hours of extra knitting...
I am pretty clean! When I start getting piles of mess I get clumsy, and start spilling vials of beads, or stabbing my self with embroidery needles, its a little hint to myself that I need to pause, put some tea on and tiddy up a little bit! It happens so offend like clock work that when I stab myself to many times, and always yelling Ouch, my husband comes over to tell me that my crafting is "Paused, for half time" buhahaha! He's so helpful... now if only I could get him to make the tea for me... hummm XD
I'm some kind of freak of nature; always tidying up as I go. My two daughters though, that's a different story. When they are working to an art or textiles deadline, they will start working on a table, until there is no more room, move to the floor in one room and then on to the next until my house is virtually covered with paper and fabric and the stair carpet is strewn with odd scraps of fabric and bits of thread that have travelled on their socks! If I had the spare money I'd build them a studio shed in the garden. I always made stuff with them from toddlers so it's great to see them creating all this amazing stuff and after deadline day they do actually tidy up!
im a messy mess maker, theres always crap all over the floor around me when im making things
Im pretty messy while im doing a project but when Im done I usually try to clean up after myself. If only for the simple fact that I have a four year old son who will get into everything if I dont put it away.
Very messy, and supplies and half finished projects are all around my room. Yet I seem to be able to find everything I need or want quickly unless I havn't used it in a few years.
