Yeah I've kind of always had a hard time becoming inspired. I usually try to pay close attention to people's outfits and the colors they wear. Sometime that gives me ideas.

I hate it when that happens, watch a movie, take a walk, be around people who inspire you

Take a look here for one inspired dad. You gotta love this Robocop costume made from recycled stuff and the pictures of the little kid around town.

I've been that way for a couple of weeks, but the problem isn't a lack of inspiration. I have two whole pages of projects to work on! I just haven't felt like crafting or drawing. I think it's partly depression and partly burnout. For the past year I've been crafting and drawing non-stop. In August alone, I posted over 300 drawings and craft projects to deviantART. I have nearly 1000 on there and I've only been a member for 13 months! I was able to make a pumpkin plushie for my niece for Halloween today, so maybe I'm getting it back. I just know that I'm really unhappy when I'm not creating.

Yeah, it happens to me too, but it's burnout, like Kiddo said. I think the best you can do is take a week or two off, do something you love that you haven't done in forever, and then attack a completely NEW project, however loosely or not based on crafting. I find this helps me a lot, and then I'm able to go back to my list of items to create. In fact, I just finished a pillow I'd been working on for a year by doing this. Happy

I use the internet as inspiration, it has so many things to look at! I love pretty pictures like those found at IMGfave
http://imgfave.com/
And fro journal prompts I like this site:

And there are many inspiring blogs out there, here are some of my faves:

I really hope they help, sometimes you just need to find something that makes you say:Hey I can make that!"

I think you can sometimes think too hard about being creative it can actually block your creativity.

Also, if something is becoming a bit of a drag it's usually a sign to try something else.

Sometimes you feel pressure to make things for others, which is not helpful either. I have found that a clean break with your current project works for me. Make something for yourself that you would like. X
