Lego's 50th
So the Lego block has now been around for 50 years! wow.... anyone got good memories of the little block?
I remember being about six and building a huge house out of Lego for my Barbie dolls to live in, because i didn't have a big enough doll house for my full size dolls. I used up ever last bit of Lego to my brother's annoyance, but it was pretty with all the muti-colors ^^
When I was three between the ages of three and five my brother who woul have been sit to nine would buile these amazing things out of legos. Lego ships and houses, they all had really cool doord and gadgets. After he was done building them I would go and take one arm and knock them down! I would do this every time until he finaly went off and hit me. I'm sure I didn't enjoy being hit but I know I deserved it. Ans now it is a fun family storie that gets told alot.
When I was little i had a red box thing with different compartments in full of lego i loved lego!
Lego lighthouses. We had so much red and white. Not so much of any other colour though.
Happy Birthday Lego! I had lots and lots of Lego when I was little, it was my favorite toy. I had a pirate ship, an Island and a bunch of other stuff.
Oh wow... I miss Lego - although the new stuff seems so *different*, in a bad way...
my dad has a bunch of the vintage Lego,me and my little brother used to play with them all the time when we were little
Ya, the new lego is so boring, no imagination left in it really everything pretty much has be put together that way specifically designed by the instructions and set, or it doesn't work at all it makes me sad, i loved the old Lego blocks anything was possible with them
Remember technic? The pneumatics and the motors and the crazy contraptions? Wowie
My fave memory of Lego was when I've been to Legoland in England- so much fun and I loved the mini sculptures they had, of famous things in London such as Buckingham palace. Next time I go to England with my family I'm definately going there. So far I think I've been 4 times!
does anyone remember rip off lego like those small glow in the dark bricks they looked just as fun..I want legoooo.
OH YEH i forgot that I went to Lego Land it was so good! I still have my drivers license and gold medal from there
OMG- I've still got my liscense as well- that was so much fun!
I loved legoland! I wasn't allowed a driver's license because you had to pay £5 for it and my mother's a bit cheap <3
I didn't get a gold medal either because you had to pay a pound for that.
BUT. i did have a good time and Pirate Falls was amazing.
only child from a broken home
I really really really really really want to go to Legoland, that would be so amazing! I'd much rather go there than Alton Towers. Can we please go Tom?
