I live in the country. And a robin made a nest in the small tree right outside our garage (probably cuz it was the only one left lol).
My brother woke me up the other day, yellin at me to save this baby chick. It turns out a half-mature chick fell out of that nest. :O
I had to put on gloves, & i put him back in the nest. ...but then he fell out again a few hrs later. lol So i fed him some bird seed, and tried to think of what to do.

So i just let him run around our front yard chirpping, & watched him, to make sure hes okay. Eventually his mom showed up, and she fed him worms. XD It was so cute! Then he just sat in the yard. The next day, i didnt see them, so i guess they relocated.
It was awesome! & when i held him, he just closed his eyes & stopped chirpin all happy. XD He had a rough day. It was cool.

Good to know: Dont touch baby birds with your hands. I learned somewhere that if u do, theyre mother might reject them. :/ So i wore gloves.

@DarkAshHurts...

I grew up in the country too. One year we had a terrible storm and a brown thrasher baby was blown from his nest. We found him in the middle of the road, so we had no idea where he'd come from. We took him home and put him under a lamp to keep him warm. Every day I'd go outside and catch bugs to feed him. We fed him by hand until he got big enough to go out side. When we let him free he didn't act like he wanted to fly off. A couple of days later he finally did. We were all really sad to see him go, but were super surprised when (for the next 2 years) he would occasionally show up on our porch chirping. He'd stay there for about an hour before flying off! (We think it was him, anyways)

We name'd him Bug-Tussel. Happy

Aaaawwww they are such lovely stories!! Well I live in the suburbs on London, I haven't seen a robin nest, but there is one robin that always visits our garden, especially after the worst of the winter and sometimes in the spring too.
