what crafts are you planning to do in 2010?
OMG I love PMC!!! I've seen it on a shopping channel, it looks awesome=)
Ahhh that sounds amazing! ^.^
I know, I want one
Ooooh! I also want to try making sock creatures!!! =)
I want to start drawing again, and using my sewing and knitting machine more. I also want to make my own purse patterns and other craft stuff for my shop.
I've noticed some of you stated that you want to make a quilt; I've got about 3 or 4 quilt tops that I made years ago that still need quilting. Oh yeah, also want to take more pix of the family for scrap booking and other stuff in general.
I have heard of something some similar to the PMC kit. Pretty much the same thing or probably is, it's a precious metal clay that you mold like polymer clay, but the kind I seen you have to use a miniature kiln to bake it . That thing alone is pricey! I would love to try that myself.
Hmph, and I also want to get this awesome software to use with my expressions cricut die cutter to make more paper crafts. It costs a lot, but is worth it because then I don't have buy separate cartridges that are really expensive.
I want to learn to crochet, work on sewing more (I'm taking private sewing classes and needlework at school), photography and clay work.
I plan to do a lot more crafting in 2010 than in 2009, that's for sure! :3
Because last year, the most I did was sew my halloween outfit.. -kitty costume!-
There are tons of crafts from sewing, clay, bake, cross stitch, crochet, etc i'd like to try.
Even though I should try to only focus on a few since I'm such a novice at most..
I'm really glad I found this site, because it's been giving me motivation and crafting hypes!
Sooo I guess we'll see what happens, right? <3
hmmm so many craft projects so little time hahaha- i want to make my own patterns for amigurumi and plush toys. work on my embroidery, make some clothes for myself, i also want to reupholster my couch in the living room! always wanted to revamp furniture but never had the guts- too afraid i'd ruin it, so wish me luck!
that would be cool, furniture revamp
furniture revamp doesnt seem too daunting; my mom did it with almost no experience, and the experience she DID have was basically watching her dad do it when she was like, 3 years old.... and her couch is fantastic! :-D
oh, as for my answer: i prefer to make things as they come to my brain, and not plan too much out; however, i did have a rush of creativity back around christmas when i was way too busy, so now i have a box full of ideas on scraps of paper. incidentally, i intend to decoupage the box one day..... o.O
im interested in participating in more swaps, though, once i FINALLY finish my projects for the noob swap! and dont worry, michelle; i already finished one thing, and everything is sitting right in front of me atm! ;)
I have several black sack's full of my friends and my old clothing that I would just love to alter and stencil on and corset the backs off and such.
However one thing I DEFINATLY want to do it something with a white plain pair of trainers my friend gave me, I want to make them look like the watermelon converses on CO+K they look sweeeeeeeeet. After my exams next Friday I am FREE to do that.
I would also (after Uni) like to take some sort of sewing/dressmaking classes...
I'll definitely be making some photography backgrounds for my future Mother in law. She loves to do professional style pictures, but all she has for backgrounds are different colored fleece blankets.
I'd like to create some more Asian fusion recipes, I promise as soon as I can, I'll post the ones I've already done.
I want to learn to crochet, so I can get in on all this amigurumi stuff y'all all have been doing.
Start making some homemade finger paints for my daughter. Make a cool cake(possibly shaped like a teapot) for her birthday, next month. As well as some tiny desserts from the book Tiny Treats from American Girl. Create faerie size treats and decorations for the party, as well.
Put together pretty much everything for my wedding, later this year....I do mean EVERYTHING.
Make more fun dress up costumes for my Sofi, and her pals. Put together some accessories for my Steampunk costume, as well as maybe an Aes Sedai costume(from the Wheel of Time), for Renaissance Festival.
wow Tigerlily you will be busy
have fun with that,
I really want to learn how to knit or crochet, tried to teach myself, but it didn't work out too well
