Yeah, when I have kids Harry Potter will probbly be seen as one of those "classic bedtime stories" haha. Although I don't think I'll read my kids Harry Potter, because 1) the books are way too long, it would take like a year's worth of bedtimes to get through them all, and 2) I don't really like them that much Tongue

Alright, so there are multiple reasons I'm doing this.

Little Red Riding hood... elts take that one for example. I want to be something witty for halloween, and I love the idea or turning children's things into really scary things.

So little red riding hood becomes, little DEAD riding hood.

But that is a very common one, and I wanted to turn ANOTHER children's book into something scary.

---->Rumplestiltskin becomes rumpleKILLskin? lol. Thats a lame one, but I'm still working on it.

Another reason is I have to rewrite a children's story into a "modern literature" story, like, rewrite a chapter or two and expand it, put in symbolism and malapropreisms and puns and entendre's. Etc etc etc, for my english lit class, and everyone is doing the same stories, but I wanted to do one that no one else would do.

AND ANOTHER reason is I've got a card for a bunch of books at michaels, and I want to get my little cousin some of the best kid's books for christmas Happy

You're doing a similar thing to me in English. Our coursework this year is to take a literary piece and rewrite it in a different genre. I've chosen to use Noughts And Crosses by Malorie Blackman and rewrite it as a newspaper article, focusing on the theme of terrorism from the novel.
